What does all this mean??

ok so on Friday I had a check up with my OB, baby's heart rate, 146, so that was good,my BP 120/80 guess that is ok. total weight gain 15 1/2 pounds, so not too bad, Then the news went down hill from there, Said I failed my sugar test by 10 points {is that alot????} so now have to take the 3 hr test, MY urin had { i will never spell these right} keytones, protien, white cells, blood in it, did not have any glucouse or nitraites, I have no idea what that means becuase be for I could ask she was sending me to hospital for a u/s stat and hold to check my cervex for Ballooning???? so after waiting for ever for the doctor to call me so I could find out what the u/s and other stuff meant, the tech would tell me nothing, and even after waiting and hour and a half for the dr to call she would not let me leave until I spoke with the dr, well it was after 5 when they were down with the u/s so the on call person was the one to call me and give me the results, He said that my cervex was two cm thick, I have no idea if that is good or bad, and then just reread the urin results and said I could call my OB on mon if I wanted more  info, and to just keep on doing what ever she had told me to, as in bed rest, I here i sit wondering why the rush for a u/s and what does all that stuff in my pee mean? If anyone knows that help would be great, thanks ladies

Julia, I wish I could explain what any of it means.  I have no idea my friend, but as always thinking about you.  I hope someone here does so you don't have to wait.  Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers...Amanda

i'm gestational diabetic and because we are kind of a restrictive diet we have to test for ketones in our urine, if we have ketones its because we are not eating enough carbs for our needs and babies.
