What happens if you get pregnant at 35?

I am 35 years old. I want to know  at what age is considered too old for pregnancy? Usually say that after 35 years, it's hard to get pregnant.

I was 38 when I was pregnant with my second child. Just eat healthy the entire pregnancy. No caffeine or sugary junk food. You will be fine. Do what I did. Get a heart monitor to listen at home. I demanded an ultrasound at every appointment. The last appointment I had, the doctor said come back tomorrow to deliver. I demanded an ultrasound. The doctor said, "You are running out of fluid, go to delivery now!" If I wouldn't have demanded an ultrasound I would have had a stillborn. I love my 13 year old daughter.

The age limit to when are you expected to be pregnant has shifted. More and more women are starting to try having babies in their 30s.
I got pregnant recently and I'm 36 going towards 37. We didn't even have to try way too much. My pregnancy is going completely normal, I'm just chronically tired and always thristy. I know the risk for certain disorders is increased after 35 but not by a large margin. Modern medicine is there to help us through all of it and there's no need to panic although I did at first.

I had both of my kids older than that. :>).  I think more and more women are getting pregnant later with more receiving higher education and starting careers and finding their significant others later. That was the case with me. I know that they say it is 'harder to get pregnant' and for some it is and for others it isn't. I did have trouble with my first pregnancy. It took a couple of years and I was scheduled to begin IVF. Ironically, on the day I was to start I got a positive pregnancy test from trying naturally. And my second son was conceived 5 months after my first was born. I would say this. The closer you get to 40, the more urgent it does become. If you are trying and don't get pregnant in a year at 35, go to a fertility doctor. If you are 38 and trying, wait only 6 months. If you are 39, go right away. Just to be safe. But MANY women do get pregnant in their late 30's without incident. My first pregnancy was a little rough with pregnancy hypertension but I'd have had that anyway as I have familial hypertension. How long have you been trying?
