When visiting OBGYN for prenatal checkup

Y do we have to leave urine sample? What r they checking for?

They check if there are traces of sugar or protein. Sugar could mean you are having gestational diabetes and protein indicates pre eclampsia. God bless!

They check for protein in your urine also for drugs.

Stuff like uti's & protein in urine. My ob can also tell if im dehydrated from mine

Protein in urine could be an indicator of pre eclampsia. So they'll keep an eye on that too :)

To make sure everything is ok like tgere ni sugar in the urine n ketone no infections u can Google it n see
