Use soap free body wash it'll save you in the long run & if you have any rashes just use bepanthen rash cream for babies it works wonders :)

It depends on where you are using the soap. If it's just on the outside of your vulva (the hairy part), that should not affect anything. If you are using it on the inside of your vulva (the pink, shiny part) and inside your vagina (the tube that goes between your external genetalia and your cervix), that's probably part of the reason. The vagina is self cleaning and you should not ever wash it out with anything. You only need to rinse the shiny pink part with water and use mild soap on the hairy bits. Cotton undies, only. And yes, cut back on sugar and drink lots of water. You couls definately be passing it back and forth with your partner. It's the same yucky bug and it can affect the skin surface, too.

^^ agree with CallmeCarrie's suggestions. Also treating your partner so he doesn't reinfect you and we bought an anti-bacterial laundry detergent that you add to normal laundry cycle and washed all of underwear and sheets. Have had an infectionnin years.

Cut back on sugar. Drink lots of water. You can take a probiotic like AZO yeast. I switched to Dove sensitive, use cotton panties, cutback on sugar and haven't had one. Hope that helps.

You need soap.  I am very sensitive and get something if I don't shower 1 day or use any regular soap just once.  I can only use summers eve vaginal wash.
Also your husband can be giving it to you. If he has a rash on upper leg/groin that's a yeast infection.
Do you wait the 7 days of no sex?
Are you getting the itch or just discharge?  It might not be a yeast. .. Good luck!
