A doctor would know a YI by sight. Take the entire treatment even if you feel better right away and you can add yogurt with live cultures to your diet. It won't cure a yeast infection but may help you keep them away. Yeast love warm moist environments and grow rapidly in them. Unfortunately, pregnancy causes optimal environment for yeast to grow like mad since there is a lot more moisture present then there is when you aren't pregnant.
If it is in fact a YI then I suggest yogurt!!! It worked for me when I was pregnant. Too much though and it does the opposite!
I would definately see your OB. You want to make sure that it's correctly diagnosed, and then I am sure he/she can help you get rid of it once and for all!! Good luck to you!
I mean it could be some other kind of irritation. That's sooo frustrating. Also, I had a YI and used over the counter meds which didn't clear it up. A trip to the OB gave me a prescription that cleared it up. I don't think Probiotics would help, I think it would take a TON to keep a yeast infection away, ( I remember hearing this from my OB) I was taking them to try to counter act the antibiotics from my c-section to make sure my ds didn't get thrush. Call the dr. maybe they have something stronger for you. There are over the counter new tests too for YI and Vaginosis. Good luck!
4 negative blood test for herpes and I have been with the same man for years, who is awesome. So I dont know!
I think the cranberry is for urinary tract. How many have you had, and are you for sure they are yeast?
