Yeast infection

I have been suffering for chronic yeast infections. I'm so itchy I can hardly sleep. . I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant any suggestion on to treat w/ out prescriptions . I would use nystatin but read it might not be safe for 1 st trimester any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . My dr said to us monistat but its not working.

Acidopholus pills, eat a lot of plain yogurt, or soak a tampon in plain yogurt & insert once a day.These all helped me.

I was prescribed canesten pessary which is perfectly safe during pregnancy but you can buy it over the counter without a prescription - cleared mine up straight away

Sorry to hear that. Monistat is probably the only med they recommend for yeast infection during pregnancy. Can't your doc prescribe something?? How long can you go on like this? Good luck to you. I hope it goes away!
