Is anyone else struggling with acid reflux? I am on medication,  gaviscon and rennie given to me by my obstetrician but still not much improvement. How is everyone else coping?

I have had acid reflux for years , it ***** and nothing actually helps it other than avoiding certain foods and never missing medication times, I take lansoprazole 1-2 pills a day , was worried I wouldn't be able to continue taking my meds during pregnancy but was happy when I was told I can continue taking.

A shot of apple cider vinegar (with the "mother") morning and evening. Follow with a small glass of ice water. This has cured mine! And it was awful! It's alkaline enough to knock out the stomach acid. It has changed my life!

I take zantac 75 mg tablets...no more than two a day per doctors orders and I also drink nothing but water...not by choice but anything other than water instantly makes me vomit. I also drink alkaline ph level 9 water from the health food store and it works wonders on its own but when things get too rough, that's when I take a zantac and it helps to slow down my vomiting too. Hope you feel better soon, congrats on baby and best wishes.

I had acid reflux and I just drank soda water to clear it up. I mean I just drank enough to burp and I was fine. If I drank too much it made it worse. I also ate smaller meals. I refused any type of meds, but that's because mine wasn't that bad. *****. I hope you feel better.
