active labor!!

Im 36 weeks today, she's measuring 38 weeks. Soo yesterday my boyfriend and I had sex and right after I had to pee and went and it was my mucus plug and started having contractions that were all over the place so we went to L&D and I found out I was dilated to 2cm and 60% they kept mefor 6 hours and ddidn't give me anything just waited to see if my contractions would space out or even go on a regular beat but no. And I wasn't dilating anymore. So they said I was active labor and told me if I would rather go home until my water breaks or if the contractons get worse that I could doso. So now were home and I want her out! Anyone else have anything close to this? Any baby yet for you?

So i went out and bought Evening primrose oil super excited to see if it works

My doc sent me home and said nothing precaution wise. I workout and I have sex often.. now I'm terrified because I don't know what I should or should not do! An orgasm is said to cause contractions but that doesn't mean it will spark labor! Nipple stimulation might help because it releases oxytocin which is a chemical your body releases when it's actually time to start labor. If you are wanting to bring on labor you can try those. I'm hoping my girl cooks a few more days, but I have been having contractions every day and they get just.stronger so who knows.

Ohh you poor thing you are so close!! But ueah that'swhat they told me. I'm scared if I have sex again it will just cause contractions and nothing else

I'm 34w 5cm and 90% effaced, I went in at 3cm and in labor and it stoped so now I'm at home. It's a waiting game! I have had every sign in the book That my daughter is coming but nothing yet. I was told to wait until my water breaks or contractions increase. I wouldn't mind her cooking longer! But who knows could be tonight could be 4 weeks from now. I know how you feel
