I'm only 4 months (as of today, YIPPEE!!!!), but I've had such a difficult time sleeping myself, it's horrible, and unfortunately, I HAVE to work, so I'm often sluggish at work (good think I sit at a computer all day)
Ahhh, i'm having trouble sleeping too! And, I'm really sick of getting up every 2 hours to pee! But it's my own fault since every time I get up, I'm sooo thirsty that I drink a glass of water each time...so, of course I'm getting up later on to pee AGAIN! But I can't help it...I'm ALWAYS so thirsty.
I am 36w tomorrow....
tennessee... I have a memory foam bed the original that you see on the infomercials. I love it.. I had back pain from a car accident and it has been great but did nothing for rls... I didn't have it last night but my belly was aching...
I did ok last night even though I had to sleep in my dd princess bunk beds. She woke up because of a bad dream and got into bed with us so I just went to her bed. There's just not enuff room in mine for the 4 of us.
The night before I was up all night and it was my own dumb fault. The electric had gone out for a couple min. that morning and I reset the clock and not the alarm. I never though anything of it that night and just flip the alarm on and went to sleep. well it went off at 12:00 am ...DUH! I hit snooze and thought man I'm tired! by the 3rd time it went off I was awake for the night! ggrrrrr. I finally got to sleep around 5;30 after Dh went to work and dd was up at 6:30.
Tennesseegirl,
I had RLS with my youngest. I think it was our mattress (which should really be replaced soon) putting extra pressure on my left hip and causing the pain in my legs. I bought one of those nice memory foam mattress toppers at the beginning of this pregnancy and (knock on wood) it's been a world of difference! Okay, going to try and go back to bed for an hour.
oh mell.. I was sitting here bragging yesterday about the darn rls... and had it last night... geez.. I wish I could find out what causes it... I just hate it.. hopefully it is just a pregnancy thing and I dont have to much more to go. but I sooooo know how you fill about not sleeping!!! There would be no way I could work with this pregnancy! I have been living on naps. I just hate it.
as I was flipping and turning... I thought.. I want a peanut butter sandwitch.. Im so glad I didnt give in... but still went flipping and turnning.
drinking is good!! drink as much as you can.
And I thought I was the only one up at 4am. This is the first time this has happened to me. I woke up about a half hour ago for a bathroom break, and could not fall asleep because I was too hungry. I did not have a bowl of cereal before bed last night and now realize that I should have. I just hope I can fall back asleep for at least an hour or two yet.
