This is my second and it would make me very nervous if I weren't prepared early. As I got bigger towards the end with my first my energy was really shot. If you're feeling good in your 2nd trim I think you may want to get most of it done now. All that laundry has to be done, sterilize stuff, and organize your home--make room for equipment like swing & decide where the toys are going. Our house got small fast! No one that I know has any money after Christmas. Target is doing free shipping now.
I waited to get stuff just didn't want to rush things n get overwhelmed... but everybody different.
Hmm. Consumer reports lists November as the best time to buy baby products, for deepest discounts.

I'm 21 weeks and not really doing shipping until February;baby due March 25th. I'm not pressed. Most shipping I do online and I hope to get some help with baby shower gifts so I'll wait it out.
I'm 28 weeks today...I'm done shopping. This is my 5th daughter and ask my daughter's came early. I wanted to get the showing over with while I was still comfortable enough to shop. (Although I did a lot of the shopping online). I'm one of those pregnant people who get big everywhere when they get pregnant. I lose it quick but the weight ends up everywhere as well as the baby. I know when I'm bigger I won't want to be it doing, especially around the holidays...not a fan of crowds and waiting in long lines at stores. I'll probably have my baby around the same time...
