anyone with animals??

Im 39 weeks today and i have two dogs and a cat.. i want to know if anyone knows how to let them adjust to the baby when he gets here. My first dog is 3 and he is a jack russel but hes always been my baby ive had him since he was 5 months old and my other dog is a year old and she is sometype of shephard mix ive had her since she was 6 weeks. Any advice??

Yes have someone introduce babys scent and let them check out lo whenu get home with someone able to have control over them in case they get too excited try to jump slobber all over etc. & just rremember they may be ur babies too but never ever leave them alone together especially when ur lo starts to crawl my son went to the dog food eeeeevvvery time he touched floor and our shepherd would raise her lip at him for the first couple weeks they need to know what the boundaries are

I did a little research and if u can while ur still in the hospital, have someone take some blankets home with the babies scent in it and help them adjust slowly..
