bleeding

Hello everyone
So I've been away from here for a while since we had houseguests last  week and they finally left yesturday. Time for me to relax right? Wrong!
So last night I realised I was spotting with red blood when I wiped.  But this morning it has become a full fledged bleed with clots and mild cramping.  I'm so sad and messed up.  I haven't gone into work and called my doctor's and was told we have to wait and see.  They will do an ultrasound on Thursday to check everything.  My question is since I've been researching on the internet is did any of you have bleeding during pregnancy and things still be ok?

As everyone else has said already, I am also so sorry that you are going through this.  It is so scary.  I also have known people who have had bleeding throughout their (healthy) pregnancies.  I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers too and hope to hear good news on Thursday.

I'm sorry to hear this. I will tell you that I bled alot when I was 5 wks pregnant it turned out that I had a tear in my placenta and was put on bedrest. I had to go for an u/s once a wk until it healed. By the second wk it healed but then I jumped right back into my everyday chores and tore again, this time huge clots, back on bed rest!! By 8wks everything was healed. How far along are you? Try to take it easy until Thursday. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep me updated. I hope this helped.

Yes, lets wait and see before you get to upset.
I dont want to get your hope up, but I have heard that it is possible to have the blood and the clots and go on to have a healthy baby.  Lets keep our fingers crossed that this is the case for you.
Keep us posted!

All these women said it.... girl do not give up yet.  Sometimes our bodies are just plain wacky during pregnancy.   Just stay off your feet and try to rest as often as possible.

Hoping to her good news on Thursday!

Anxi, try really hard to stay positive until you know for sure.  I can think of more then one on here who had bleeding like that, yes clots included.  All has turned out fine for them. If your Dr. said wait and see, that also means its not over.  I do admit with the clotting and cramping, it makes it a bit more serious, but it definately does not mean its over.  I will be thinking of you the next few days, anxiously awaiting your update on Thursday.  Please let us know how you are doing.  (((hugs)))

I'm so sorry you're going through this!  I have to agree with Tricia that the blood clots coupled with cramps is not a good sign.  Thoughts and prayers are with you!  Pls keep us posted!  Pam

The only bleeding I had was a light "period" the first month I was pg with my daughter. No clotting. Oh, gosh...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! But I have to be honest, clots and cramping don't sound good. :-( I'll be thinking of you today...please keep us updated.
