can someone advice me please unsure of water breaking

Im not sure if my waters broke. I went toilet as normal it was yellow sorry for thw detaila then went had a shower 10mins later. As i was showering im not sure if my waters broke or i peed again. It was a very light yellow. I got out and got dressed and i wasnt leaking. I laid down for half hour and got up again nothing  no leaks. I peed again it qas still light  yellow. Ita been 3hrs since no leaking. I just went back to the toilet too pee and ita back to normal yellow.  I see my Dr  tomorrow. Im scares as i have a stitch there and dont want to go to active labor  with it.

Usually you will gush more laying down than standing up because the babies head will act sort of like a plug when you're standing up where as when you are laying down baby is laying back against your back.Also when your water breaks you have no control over it unlike your urine, it's 100% clear and has almost no smell but if it smells at all it will be somewhat of a sweet-ish smell, certainly not like the repulsive smell of urine

Thanks ladies im still not leaking,on pain or discharge  so i dont think it was my waters,  just frequent toilet  visits which looks normal. I will get checked out when drs open. I have  a high stitch in place so makes things complicated for me to distinguish  whats normal and whats not.

No your water didn't break you'll know it when it happens just getting out of the shower or off the toilette you will have more like a leak or couple dribbles that still come out then stop .. But by you laying down to rest and got up you for sure would have lots more coming out that's how it was for me you won't have a crazy gosh like movies lol good luck

Everyone is different. Water breaking is now always a gush. It can trickle and run down your legs. If it's yellow, there's a good chance it was just urine. If you start having contractions, then it's possible that your water did break. Just keep an eye on it and if it continues to happen, it wouldn't hurt to go get checked. Good luck!
