if my cervix is thin and baby head down can i got into labor more early than late

its hard to tell, it seems likely but there is no certainty. it can happen so slowly for some, quickly for others

Cervical thinning is part of the body preparing for labor. I am guessing you saw your doctor and he/she said your cervix is a certain percent effaced? It does indicate that your time is near.

How far along are you? How effaced are you? Are you dilated?
