Why is it that when pregnant you get more charlie horses that hurt ten times worse then when your not Pregnant? And how the heck do I get rid of it cause I burst into tears now everytime I get them.

I only got them when I was dehydrated. Otherwise I could stretch and move my legs to my hearts desire! Keep yourself hydrated.

I get really bad charlie horses, even before I was pregnant. Have your husband/boyfriend to massage it out, its gonna hurt really bad, but you wont have it anymore. Mine hurt so bad to where I have to move my legs on the bad because its like they itch to move. I tell my bf to massage it away, it hurts, but my legs feel soo much better afterwards. Eat bananas, drink alot of water & baked potatoes with the skin on them is GREAT for legs!

A lot of non-pregnant people get a Charlie horse because they are dehydrated. Try to get more water in you. And one thing I do when I have a Charlie horse is when I feel it coming on I stretch through it then massage the heck out of it. Good luck

What they all said. For instant relief put your foot on something cold. I keep a big glass water jug we keep our change in next to my bed. When the pain hits I put the arch of my foot on it. I don't know why, but. it works.
