spotting

Hi! I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and have been having some spotting which looks like light pink discharge, this started yesterday morning and by evening time had stopped this morning when I wiped I also had some discharge but this time it was a little darker in color.  I have been having some slight cramping and am a little worried because I am not seeing my doctor for another two weeks as he does not see patients before 11weeks pregnant.  Has anyone ever experience this and had a positive outcome?

Don't loose hope and please don't stress yourself. Stress can harm you in many ways. My outcome was devastating and I'm sure stress had much to do with it. I was 6w 4d when I lost my baby but I had only known for a week. I had took a pregnancy test the second week of gestation and it showed negative. I moved heavy furniture, painted, was around chemicals, drove my tractor and lawn mowers and much more including I didn't eat for a week and half due to stress.

I had headaches for a month and backaches plus other symptoms. My stress level was extremely high . I took another pregnancy test and it was positive. I took another the next day to be sure. I made appointment with Dr. My sonogram showed I was 5w3d. I was so excited but was scared because of all the wrong things I had done. The nurse at the hospital said she has had many people to have a full period (AF - Aunt Flo). I was also told if I was having a miscarriage there was nothing they could do. You could go to hospital and get your hormone levels checked and that will tell you a lot. Mine were low so I was to have them checked again.

Just because mine didn't turn out good please don't loose hope for I have read story after story of good results. There has been classes where one Dr said the baby was dead and she needed a d & c the lady refused a week later she heard baby's heartbeat and had healthy baby.

So my final word is follow your heart and don't stress yourself into complications. Good luck and keep me posted...

I can't wait till I go to Dr next week so he can release me to get pregnant again. My husband won't let me do anything I can't do if I were pregnant and I'm still taking my prenatal vitamins.

Hi! I was actually able to see my doctor last week, he did an ultrasound and everything was good baby was measuring correctly for the number of weeks that I am and heartbeat was 165 which Dr. said was normal.  He also checked my cervix and said it was closed which is a good sign, he was not able to tell me where the spotting was coming from but told me to take it easy until my next appointment with him in a few weeks.  I'm still getting some spotting on and off but I'm trying not to worry about it...I'm trying to focus on having a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Yes I had that too. The doctor told me unless I begin gushing blood like my period not to worry. He did put me on bed rest at 11 weeks. The spotting and cramping can be from implantation so just take it easy til you see your ob. I am 36 weeks today so stay positive. I had a eutopic pregnancy in 2009 so there are positive outcomes :)
