contractions while driving... not fun!
yesterday.. I had a bad contraction driving... almost needed to pull over... yikes
my dd was like.. mom your going five miles under the speed limit.. I told her Im lucky to do even that.. I was on a very busy highway.. omg.. what a terrible experience. did think it was ever going to go away...
just goes to show you ... you just never know when one is to come on.

It was orientation in the elementary school multi-use room with the entire group of new kindergarten parents, and the principal and kindergarten teachers giving presentations! I just kept a piece of paper nearby to write down the timings of the contractions to see if I was starting labor, but I don't think anyone else but hubby knew.
A couple of weeks ago, I broke down and bought 3 pair of maternity activewear capri pants because it was starting to get warmer and I didn't have anything but long pants to wear to the prenatal fitness class. They are so comfy though (I'm wearing some today) and I should be able to wear them for a while after baby is born too, while I'm waiting for my c-section to heal and my body to begin going back to "normal".

yea.. thats funny.. did u tell the kindergarten teacher you were having them.. I would of tried to keep quiet.. and yea.. you just have to grin and try to keep from screaming!! lol mine yesterday wasnt tooo bad driving.. just enough to think.. omg hurry up and stop! damn thing was a long one. I think mine was because Im outgrowing my darn maturnity pants. and yesterday I had on brand new shorts!!! ugh.. guess i will have to cut them in the waist.. smile I refuse to buy anymore maturnity clothes!!!!
Glad you were still safe on the highway. Always interesting that the contractions come on suddenly and unpredictably, whenever they want to. Keeps us almost due ladies on our toes.
WIth my youngest, I sat through a Kindergarten orientation meeting having contractions the entire time. I thought my water was going to break at any moment. Water broke 2 days later soon after we arrived back home from a Mother's Day brunch. I was praying during brunch that my water wouldn't break while we were at the restaurant! :-)
