cramps after D&C?

I had a D&C yesterday and felt totally fine with minimal bleeding until tonight.  The cramps starting one minute to the next and they are very painful.  Still not much bleeding.  My doctor prescribed antibiotics as a precautionary measure.  I don't recall cramps this bad after my last D&C.

I had some painful cramping for a day or two after my 2nd D&C as well.  I think it just happens sometimes.  It shouldn't be "doubled over" kind of cramping, just like a bad AF.  I used tylenol with codeine and a hot water bottle and it was much better the next day.  Put on a comfy robe, put your feet up and try to relax as much as possible.  If it gets too bad call your Dr.  It is pretty rare to have complications with a D&C, but listen to your instincts.  Don't hesitate to call if you need to.  ((((hugs)))))

Sorry for your loss;-/  After my DnC I had very little bleeding by the time I got home.  I felt fine as far as all that was concerned.  But the next 3 days I had pretty strong cramps, & my bleeding picked up a little.  It still wasn't too bad, but just more of everything.  I was not on antibiotics either.
I bet your fine. were you a little more further along this time around?  I was 11 weeks, so I knew to expect some cramping, since I was already showing.
Hope you get feeling better soon;)
