The Dr could also prescribe reglan, didn't work for me at all.  Eat what stays down, even if it is crap food.  I am 35wks 4 days and am still on a daily dose of zofran. The constipation is killer,  just had to add more fiber to my diet and stool softener.  Good luck.

For the time being, ide say go ahead and eat the junk food if that's the only food that will stay down.  Try not to eat huge (or dupersized) portions though.  What ever makes you feel better to get you through this stage of pregnancy.

Carbs was the only thing that helped me. Los of carbs but in frequent yet small quantities. A couple pretzels here crackers then toast and maybe some pasta. I found it was the worst when I was hungry so I agree just enough to not be hungry. I also started taking my prenatal before bed instead of during the day.

You can take a Unisom tablet at night. It will help you sleep and help with morning sickness. You can also try peppermints snacking on protein of some sort about every two hours so if you don't want me maybe snack on some nuts or some peanut butter. You can also try sea  bands.

If you can tough it out, avoid the Zofran.  It frequently causes constipation. I was on it and in misery weeks 8-19.  That being said, if you're losing weight or unable to function you may have to take it.  Just a warning on the side effects.  I had to take it--vomiting every 20 minutes without it.  Tried all kinds of remedies w/ first preg and nothing worked--******* pops, ginger tea, gingerale, unisom,B vitamin, and existed on hard boiled eggs and rice krispie treats during first trimester of first pregnancy.  Second pregnancy worse and had to take Zofran. Good luck momma.  I hope you feel better soon! :)

Zofran was a lifesaver for me.  Even water made me nauseous.  I lost 3 lbs ìn a week. I have to stand 12 hours for my job, so I needed something to help me keep some food down.  I still had some nausea and threw up occasionally, but I felt so much better.  Now at 15 weeks, i am not feeling sick very often.  Good luck.
