diagnosed with PUPPS and miserable 29wks preg

I have been diagnosed with PUPPS super awful rash that makes me to scratch my skin off. Does anyone have any home remedies to relive the rash? I have been taking antihistamines which kinda help but not really. They have offered me steroid shots which i refused because i don't want to hurt my baby. Any suggestions?

I was just at the ER Saturday with a nasty rash that they believe to be pupps but I'm getting it waaaay early, I'm only 8 weeks along. They gave me benadryl....that is safe during pregnancy, and it does help. Cold compresses do wonders, as does a cortisone cream they recommended. (The cortisone cream is only used sparingly and under the Dr's orders and supervision). I was also spotting so they did the ultrasound and my fiancee got to see the heartbeat (yay!)

How about aloe vera? It won't take the itching but will sooth a bit. So sorry for you N hope you find some relief
