doctors appointment

I finally got a doctor to see me. Tomorrow is my appointment. The thing is, now I'm terrified. I'm scared that they are going to say that something is wrong. Or that it's ectopic. Or I'm just crazy and this whole pregnancy is in my head. Was any one else terrified for their first prenatal appointment? How did you get through it?

I am allways nervous until i hear or see the baby, but the first apt is the scarest and then most exciting all at the same time. It allmost like the anitcipation builds and nerves go crazy and until the apt then you are relieved and happy to see and hear everything.

I think you'll feel much better after the ultrasound.  Try and relax.  Its hard.  36 is young.  Theres women on here 10 years older than you having healthy babies.

Hello there. I was always nervous waiting for my first appointment. But after you go in and you see all is well you start to relax a bit. Many women including myself i think worry. I read about development etc and tried to not concentrate so much on negative things. . :)
