No your boyfriend/husband condition of epilepsy wouldn't be the reason for your miscarriages.  MOre than likely it's due to faulty eggs on your part, esp if the miscarriage occurred early in pregnancy.   Many times this is just due to bad luck.  I am sorry for your miscarriage.   I can sympathize with you.   That's how I ended up on this website, looking for answers for my m/c's.   In most scenarios it just due to an egg of poor quality.  ..don't blame yourself or him.

I am not a Dr., but I would say it is highly unlikely.  The hardest thing about first trimester miscarriage is that there is nothing you did to cause it, nor is there anything you could have done to prevent it.  I have put myself through unbelievable stress trying to look at everything I have done during a pregnancy that could have made it happen.  Don't do that to yourself.  First trimester miscarriage is almost always caused by something "going wrong" during the early development.  Even those that drink, smoke, use drugs, etc. typcially don't miscarry...their babies are born very unhealthy, but they don't miscarry.  I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts are with you.

I wouldnt think so. I have a seizure disorder and went through may a battle of meds throughout this prgnancy. A lot of seizure meds are class c/d drugs, but my neuro said it isnt the conception / viable pregnancy issue that is the worry, it's if YOU are on the meds during the developemant of the embryo/ fetus for a lot of the meds. some meds do interfere w/ conception, but if that isnt the issue I would talk to your Dr about testing if it is a recurrent problem.
my heart is with you, btw. good luck ttc
