Actually Taurine is what she's referring to with the bull semen, but that's not correct it used to come from bull urine however it is now artificially made.

From everything these women have stated it's enough to keep me away from them!!!! I am currently TTC and thank you ladies for your replies!! And even if I wasn't TTC would not go near the stuff.... And if u are craving them, then that one is just going to light that fuse for wanting more. So please really contemplate before consuming and just think about everything in them (bull semen) eww!!!!!!!

I drank energy drinks all the time for my second and thankfully she's a very healthy and intelligent 6yr old! For this baby I haven't had any cuz I've heard so many bad things! But I really don't thing that one will do any harm!

I was just reading an article on energy drinks and did you know that some contain and ingredient that is extracted from bull semen. And they are really not good for you even if you are not pregnant I know of a lot of people who drink them when not pregnant and develop heart palpitations

Energy drinks are terrible for you during pregnancy. They contain a lot of caffeine, but even if its under the 200mg that your allowed in a day its mainly the other atudd you should worry about. Guarana (which is another form of caffeine) , Taurine, Ginseng, and L-carnatine are common ingredients found in energy drinks and are currently considered unsafe for consumption during pregnancy.
