epidural

I delivered my beautiful, healthy, babygirl this past Saturday. She weighed 6.6 and was 19.5 in long. 2 weeks early but she's doin fine! She's my first so I've never had an epidural before and didn't know what to expect. I'm beginning to experience weird tingles or small jolts of discomfort in the middle of my spine i plan on talking to my doctor but is this normal??

I also had my baby on the 3rd. And my spine is pretty sore. My birthing class teacher told us that sometimes you can get what they call a spinal headache.  Its just from the epidural.

Some women get side effects like that and some get them for a long time my sister and bad back problems for 9 years. Its all part of the risk

I had an epidural but it was so long ago that I don't remember having after effects but I was also in the hospital for 5 days. I had a c-section. I imagine some sensation may be normal as an after effect but I'm not sure. Instead of waiting to see the doctor, call the office and ask to speak with him/her and find out if this is normal or not, don't wait
