uff I feel like death

I woke up so sick and achy with a cold... my eyes hurt my body hurts my nose is running... ahhh why am I a teacher???  All those sick kids coughing in my face.....

ok I am finally crawling out from under the rock haha... I feel a little bit better but have missed 3 days of school using up sick leave I was saving for maternity leave... Did you know that the usa is one of only 3 countries in the whole crappen world that gives no paid maternity leave... for gods sake peru is third world and gives 6 months paid leave... anyway I will go back to work tomorrow....

Bless your heart - our family also has been hard-hit w/nasty upper respiratory stuff.  My dd had strep throat and then upper respiratory infection all in two weeks.  In fact, at her school there were 100+ kids sick in one day.  Hope you get to feel better - drink that chicken soup!!!

I feel you..I'm sick myself.  Terrible cough, nose clogged up...ughh..   :(  I went to the pharmacy on Sunday and I asked about what I could take to at least stop coughing so I could get some sleep.  Do the same..there's a cough syrup you can take and a nasal spray for congestion..it's wonderful!

Honey I feel for you. It took me forever to get over the flu I had and I am only just now weeks later getting myself back on track. Rest and dring plenty of fluids. I hope you feel better!!

Man, sorry but I know how you feel.  I'm just getting over the flu or something.  I had a 101 fever for a few days and the WORST headache and body aches.  I felt like a truck hit me.  I took a little Tylenol but it didn't do $#i^.   I couldn't sleep or get comfortable at all for two days.

Hopefully yours ends as quickly as mine did.  I suffered for 2 days then it really tapered off.
