Most babies have blue eyes at birth that change color as they get older. If the father has blue eyes, and you carry the gene for blue eyes, there is a 50% chance of the baby keeping the blue eyes. Most likely the baby will get green or hazel eyes though.
I'm wondering the same thing. But it really depends on whether u have two dominant genes for brown which would be BB or one dominant gene for brown and one recessive gene of another color say, blue which would be Bb. My hubby also had blue eyes and everyone in his family also had blue eyes, whereas mine it's Brown and green, hazel. It depends on whether I'm BB or Bb. In which case there would be a chance that my baby would have blue eyes or another color, but it's likely it'll have boring Brown eyes.. lol
Google eye color predictor! It will let you plug in the information and give you the odds of each and some give great explanations. I'm hoping my babe gets my husband's eyes!
Shannyo an eye dr told me a childs eyes can change up until two years old:) why pl in your families changed bit later. But I also heard brown is dominant but its so hard tp say.
Brown is the most dominant, then green. It's totally possible if both parents have brown eyes for their baby to have green eyes. I hope our little boy has my hubby's green eyes, I have brown, my dad has blue and my mom has hazel.
25% me and my husband have brwn eyes and my oldest has blue my grandfather has blue eyes but my other two kids have brown my son had one blue and one green eye then they changed to brown too
I have blue, husband has brown, we have 3 kids, one has green eyes : )
Genetically speaking, you have 1 in 4 chance of any eye color that runs in the family.
Me and my husband have brown eyes our baby 5 year old have green beatiful eyes
It's really hard to say. I always heard that brown was the dominate eye color, but I don't know how much I believe that. My grandmother had brown eyes, but my dad got my grandfather's blue eyes & my niece's mom has brown eyes, but she was born with my brother's blue eyes. The weird thing though, she's 19 now & her eyes are now a lighter brown, but she had the bluest eyes as an infant & toddler. Apparently I had black eyes for my 1st 6 months of life that my mom thought I got my grandmother's brown eyes, but not the case. They also changed to a blue-green. I hope my baby gets his daddy's green eyes.
