I would not listen as much to the sizes they say the baby is during this point. Every person I know who has had a baby in the past 12 years was told either their baby was big and turned out average to small or little and turned out average to big. They are kinda guessing with the ultrasound. I'm 35 weeks now (36 on Wed) and they're saying 6 1/2 lbs which I just let go in one ear and out the other. Even in the hospital supplied birthing class their instructors say that they have NO clue how big or little the baby will be til they are born. We will have to compare notes since we're so close together once our little ones are born. :)

Both my girls stopped growing. So I was induced at 37 weeks with the first and 38 with the second. They generally want to wait till 38 weeks due to lung development. Both my girls were fine. My first was 5lbs and went home at 4lbs7oz. The second was 5lbs 9oz. They have more new born check ups than the "normal" newborn but otherwise everything was perfect. And my first daughter was in premmie clothes for awhile. I was on bed rest the last two weeks with my second. And I had 2 U/S and 2 NST weekly for the last 4 weeks. Everything was fine though. Relax and best of luck.

Same thing happened to me, I ended up delivering a perfectly healthy baby at 35 weeks. I brought him home @ 4 lbs 13 oz..its the lungs they r worried about afyer 35 weeks and my son didnt even need steroids to assist. I was slightly hypertensive and hadvto deliver due to the placenta becoming old due to b/p. So no worries...he is 13 now and taller than me!! Im on my 4th! No stressing tho!!! Makes things worse!

I don't know why they are panicking. Bcuz babies gain approximately 1/2 a pound a week every week for the last. 4-6 wks..  I'm sure the babies JUST FINE. Not ALL babies are exactly the same. If so then the world would be Boring. Going luck :)

Some full term babiws are 6 lb that means your baby has 5 more weeks to gain 2 lb that's nothing

U /s estimate and their estimated a not too good in third trimester. And yes if its just weight issue its not a big problem. I wild stress if therewere health issues. Just make sure you eat well and stay hydrated.

First thing I'll say is try not to stress too hard, I know that is easier said then done but putting stress on your body will make things even worse (it can affect your blood pressure and you digestive system) so tonight, please do something for yourself. Be it an aromatherapy bath, indulging in your favorite treat, anything that will help you feel a but calmer. Next I'll say that there is still a couple weeks to go, so your baby still has a chance to gain the weight. And even if baby can't gain the weight he/she can still survive, they just won't be able to regulate their own temperature very well. Have faith my dear, everything will work out somehow.

I am sure they will figure it out. Try not to stress for baby. I know it is easier said then done. I know babies gain a lot during the last few weeks. Your doctors will figure it out.
