Im packing a baby bag an idk what to put in it . What all should I put ?

And chapstick, earplugs, an eyemask for sleeping (for me its almost impossible to sleep in a hospital and I get home completely exhausted, not a good way to start out parenting), and a can of diet coke and some snacks for my  husband for while I'm in labor.  (Mine always happen in the middle of the night and he gets hungry and tired too. :) )

I kept the car seat in the car and my husband brought it up they day we left. I believe most hospitals won't let you leave the ldrp floor without the baby being properly strapped into an appropriate car seat

Like for when I leave with the baby . Do I bring the car seat or Just wait till I be released ?

All I brought in my bag my first baby was 1 snack, a go home dress, a toothbrush, baby outfit, and camera, I thought the hospital would give me everything else and they didn't. All hospitals are different but be prepared those are all the things I wish I had

Comfy clothes to wear home, out fit for baby, SHAMPOO,CONDITIONER,WASH CLOTH,toothbrush,toothpaste,camera,iPod, hair brush, maybe a little make up if you wear it, snacks,comfy bra like a sports bra.The hospital will have stuff like diapers and formulaif you ddon't breastfeed and they'll have receiving blankets and beanies for baby.
