I'm going to try to do the 'freezer' thing this weekend.  It's probably too late to do much.  That's a great idea to have ground beed ready for different meals.  Teresa, I haven't cooked breakfast since I made waffles back before Christmas - your family's really lucky!  We live off cereal and Pop-Tarts.  Thanks for the websites.

awwww.. got my freezer full... If I can only stop taking from it on my lazy days!!! lol I started a month ago, and I find myself thinking.... hmmmm... that sounds good!!! and end up eating it.
lol wonderful thing to do when your not sleeping at night!
Make sure you use a sticky post to label.. the first few I would just label.. chicken and damn it.. a few times I would get the wrong thing.
crockpot is wonderful!!! I have cooked alot from it and than freezed. egg rolls and chimachangas are wonderful to freeze. meatloafs.. just make sure you bake them first becasue of the eggs. and you can make smaller ones and crumble for like in spegitti sauce.. big hunks for meatballs.. etc.
I have company coming.. and am trying to get a head start.. but it really is hard not to grab a container... smile.. oh appertisers are doing great too.. cheese dips, artachoke dip, lol.. I even got breakfast coverd... you can cook the meat and potatoes etc.. and place in a bag where in the morning you just add eggs.. hash brown caseroles..

I have had many sleepless nights..these past months..foodnetwork.com has a wonderful site.

I just asked my mom if she would freezer cook with me one weekend soon and she said sure.. going to the dollar store to buy the aluminum trays... the recipes have meat in them... I have never freezer cooked before.. but I do buy the big ground beef cook it all up and freeze that way I just heat up with tomato sauce for spagetti or add taco seasoning for tacos... it can be added to many things at the last minute and taste good..

Thanks.

Also look into buying a slow cooker if you don't already have one.  Super easy and fast.  I made an awesome pull pork last night.  Just threw in the meat with some salt and pepper, let it cook for 8 hours, then threw in some bbq sauce.
