getting Daddy on board for the new addition

Hey all,  I am 36 and 7 weeks along with my 2nd child.  We have been together 5 years and havea  2 year old together and my husband has a 9 year old from a previous relationship.
This was a unplanned pregnancy so I was totally taken by a surprise by the news of another baby. My husband is a total planner so he's struggling with the logistics ($ needed for daycare & diapers,  where we will fit all the stuff a new baby needs). He seems to have a foul Demeanor about everything since we found out.  (Think Debbie downer constantly)
My emotions are probably getting the best of the situation but I am wondering if a anyone else has been here? How long will it take for him to come around?

It's a lot to digest especially when your older and set in your ways , both of us we're running around chasing dreams we didn't have a clue so we didn't even know till 13 weeks. I honesty thought I would like to have a child someday and now im glad that day is today :)

I'm at 28 weeks with my first. It was a happy accident for me and my husband. It is still impossible to get him on board. I feel like he's not excited to be starting a family. It gets to me too, this is the one thing I know I wanted. Sometimes men are inconsiderate. Nothing we can do about it. Hang in there!

Ours was a total shock as well his children are 15 & 17 he was planning retirement before 50 SO NOT GOING TO HAPPEN lol
He started coming around after I took him to the 20 week anatomy scan and he saw 10 fingers, 10 toes and a cute button nose. Now he sings the alphabet and numbers to the baby lol I'm currently 22+ weeks and told him he can even name the baby. He'll come around ;)
Congrats & Good Luck
