I don't know if it's the carobonation or the caffeine or the combo, but man, a good Diet Coke CURES my headaches faster than tylenol. Go figure. Good thing I don't get them very often...oh and it has to be a fountain drink. For some reason the cans don't work as well for me.

have you seen the smaller cans of pepsi? my dr said to do the same, id pour it over mostly crushed ice and drink maybe 1/4 of the can and it helped.  i had bad headaches too.  i also felt better when i drank enough water, not enough leg cramps, headaches swelling.  try more water then give the soda a try. i still have stupid headaches!

oh...  you can also try an ice pack on the back of your neck.  I know it sounds uncomfortable, and probably the last thing you want touching you when youhave a headache... but sometimes that shrinks the vessels as well...and feels better than you'd think.

i have a perscription for when i get my migraines, and it has caffeine in it.

i guess the caffeine helps to shrink the throbbing blood vessels...

i've been lucky, i was getting 1-2 migraines a month, and on a script to prevent them, once pregnant had to stop taking it...but since pregnant for 7 months i've only had like 3 migraines total. (mine are hormone related)

I read that the caffeine in pop is very hard for a growing baby to metabolize, so be careful. I'm not sure how far along you are but it could cause a mc, didn't want to scare you but just wanted to let you know what I had read.

That is exactly what they told me to try when I had killer migraines after my last baby, due to the epidural and low and behold it worked.

little bit of cafeine won't hurt girl.... just give it a try, don't drink daily if you don't feel up for it! you're gonna make that poor little Pari all crazy in there! ;) but a little here and there won't hurt...

yup i drink 1 can of pepsi a day and my headaches stay away... the doc said i was going through caffeine withdrawl and a little caffeine wont hurt anything
