heartburn help

I have heartburn bad and I need to get rid of it. Anything besides tums help?

I've been on prilosec since I was 21 weeks..  I'm now 2 days shy of 36 weeks... and my baby has dropped and the acid reflux and heart burn lightened up!

My doctor told me to use Gaviscon.  I do and it works great!

I too suffered with horrendous heartburn in my first pregnancy and tried the usual gaviscon, milk etc. This time it was so bad third trimester I went to my doctors and he prescribed me ranitidine, I take one a day and its been a life saver. Hope this helps! Good luck.
