I have the option of getting induce! What do you all suggest? Wait? Or go for it? I am 39wks2days and super excited to meet my baby boy..

I've heard induction hurts more than natural labour. My friend told me if I had to be induced that I should get an epidural right away.

I'd wait because with my first preg they estimated 7-8 lbs & he was only 6-13 at 40 + 4 days. Let baby arrive on his own.  I'm not a big supporter of inducing, stripping membranes, breaking your water, etc. I think baby will make his entrance when he's ready--not when the doctor is ready.

I was induced with my 3rd baby and it was no different than when i went naturally...good luck to you

I would wait if you can! I was induced with my first and it was awful!

Unless there is a risk to you/baby for waiting, i say wait. Inductions are hard and often end in c-sections.

Natural labour is much better but if they have medical concern go for it. Good luck!

Are there medical reasons as to why you would be getting induced or just to see baby early. If not needed I say wait.
