has anyone had strep b during pregnacy

Has anyone tested positive for strep b during pregnancy and what was the outcome.

Hi thanks iv read some horriying stories on google. What happens if there isnt enough time for the antibiotics? Is c section safer. I'm carryon  twins and i just want to know the risk om just ao scared  its been one tbing after the other i just want these little bubs to come out nice and healthy

Yes and I had IV antibiotics during labor and everything was fine.   I have tested positive this pregnancy and will have antibiotics again.

I'm on baby #4 and tested positive for my last 2 babies. It's really common tho. When you go into labour you'll have an iv of anti biotics, as long as you get the anti biotics 4 hours before you give birth then you should be covered and baby should be fine. The risk is if you don't get the anti biotics then baby can get the strep b as they are paying thru the birth canal. My 2 boys were covered and perfectly healthy with no issues at all.
