confused on dates

I haven't been here for a while.  I went through a spell where I was pregnant, miscarried, got pregnant again and miscarried.  After a while I just didn't get pregnant and after 2 years of just not even paying any attention, I found out last week that I was pregnant.

Here is the problem,  my lmp was 2 May and I got a real fast and dark line that said I was pregnant before the not pregnant line.

So what really was my LMP and was the 2 May implantation?

Thank you.  I'm waiting for a beta to find out what the levels are since I have been pregnant 8 times but always miscarry.  So far things on this one seem so different and good.

I can't believe I will be 40 though when or if I stay pregnant and deliever.

Hi,

hard to know if that lmp was implantation bleeding or a real period?  However if it was exactly on schedule it could really have been LMP.

It is possible to get an early positive.  Some people get positives as early as 8 days after implantation.  I certainly did with my last baby (which was a sticky one after 3 miscarriages - and she is now 8 weeks old).  And if you ovulated early in the cycle, Guess you'll find out when you have the first u/s

Congratulations.  Hope this is a good strong sticky one for you.  The early positive certainly bodes well.
