36+ weeks don't know how much longer I can do this....

I'm 35 and due May 30th
I start my Maternity leave May 24th the day before my birthday, but honestly 21 days seem so far away. I want to cry every morning putting my scrubs, by the time I get to work I want to sleep and by the time I get home my feet are super swollen.
My hands have been numb for weeks the Dr. tells me it's carpal tunnel and will go away after the baby, my back hurts so bad I can't sleep no matter how many pillows invest in. Because I work in a medical facility they show no mercy my boss tells me "pregnancy is not a disease it's a condition". I asked my Dr. to write an early leave note but she refuses telling me there is absolutely NO medical reason to pull me out of work early. Guess I just need to vent or advice or maybe to just run away....

I understand. I'm a nurse and am at 34 wks. I have had gallbladder issues, heart burn terribly (I take 4 meds and still get it),  have a hat rate to e high and was placed on a med for that Friday and also he dislocated a rib last week and I can't even take a deep breath without a ton of pain. I'm trying to tough it out. I'm going on leave the end of May and using vacation time until birth but I don't know how I'm going to make it.

Some pregnancies are harder than others and it ***** when no one is sympathetic. I would see about using vacation time. Also if your feet are that swollen that can be cause for leave if you show it to your Dr.

What state are you in? I'm in Cali, standard maternity leave is off at 36 weeks. Then 6-8 weeks postpartum.

Do you have vacation time? I would take that until you hit 36 weeks.
