tomorrow I will be 5 weeks I was exercising this morning after doing an ab workout I had some light Spotting . has anyone else experienced this problem with spotting and if so are they ok right now. my spotting has stopped but should I be worried?

I am also 5 weeks pregnant.  Age 41.  Just found this forum. It's so nice to have other women to talk to who are in similar situations.

I was spotting as well, told no exercise period which was a bummer. I've tried light walks around my square twice since (I thought I might be better), and spotted within 12 hrs after both times. Talk to your doc and cut out all exercise and lifting in the meantime. Might just be old blood from implantation or your uterus starting to expand  :)

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be doing an work outs pregnant. Maybe not all that safe.  I would ask the dr what exercises are safe during pregnancy so it doesn't happen again.

I had occassional spotting up until week 10. I was told it's normal.
