husband's snoring!!!

My husband snores like a freakin bear unless he sleeps on his stomach, and even then sometimes he still does. He has no idea he's doing it. When I am in bed with him I ask him to turn over and it usually stops or gets better, but I am concerned about when the baby comes. This is our first and he will be sleeping in our room for at least 6 months or so. I will be off work 6-12 weeks, but once I go back, I work nights...3 in a row then 4 days off. That means dad will be home with baby alone on the nights I'm working. I am worried about the snoring keeping my son awake. I can hardly sleep through the noise myself, so how in the world is a baby going to sleep through all that ruckus?! I don't know what I should do. Any advice?

P.S. I should also mention that I have already suggested dad have a sleep study done, but he is adamantly against that idea and the possibility of getting fitted for a CPap machine. I'm at a loss...

My daughter actually slept very soundly listening to her daddy snoring and went to sleep fast too
just remember that inside the womb it's as loud as a vacuum

This is exactly what I went though. My husband is getting a sleep study done in early December.  I wouldn't sleep much because I would sleep with one ear open thinking his snoring would wake the baby. After 2 months in a bassinet in our room, I moved my daughter who is 3 months now into her own room still in the bassinet.  We have a monitor on her to watch and listen for her. Good luck. The music works too.
