im 40+3 days pregnant?

I am 40+3 weeks pregnant with no contractions or even signs of labor. Ive done things to bring labor on... nothing. I walk a lot too. Its my first and I'm having a girl. I have a Dr appt on Monday and he might induce me that night, Tues, or Wednesday. I wanted labor to come naturally though :( anyone else experience this? I heard its normal for your first?

I hear primrose oil works wonders for starting contractions. Some people take it oraly and some vaginally.  Try it perfectly safe. I asked my ob and she said it was safe and natural way to start labor.  I'll be trying it around 38 weeks to help thin my cervix. Also raspberry leaf tea helps.

I was over due with my first 3 children and had to be induced. I'm now a week away from having my little girl and have been dilated to a 1 for almost 3 weeks and lots of contractions but the doctor says I'm not ready to have her yet. Looks like another over due baby that will need to be induced. I was really hoping for a natural one this time but I guess some of us have bodies that don't cooperate. Hang in there its not bad being induced.

I was 40+3 and took castor oil mixed with red raspberry tea and went into labor 8 hours later.

I had my first child 3 days late. I never had any signs of labor until the day before and i started getting contractions in my back. I never tried to naturally induce myself though. I am now 3 days away from my due date with my 2nd with tons of contractions for the past week and it looks like another past due baby. Good luck!  I hope yiu get to meet your precious babe soon!
