I spent forty dollars on 8 bottles with my.first, they were supposed to help with colic and.all that fancy stuff.. turns out it was a waste of money my son would only use.the parents.choice bottles that only cost a.dollar a piece
I loved my Dr. Brown glass bottles and will use them with this baby. I mostly breastfed and had no problems with transitions from bottle to breast.
Just buy one of each that you like or get free samples. Then try them or with your baby. A bottle can get the best reviews but the only one that counts is your baby's. For us we used the Medela that came with the pump and a few others until we found his favorite.
Agree, buy just a couple now. It could really depend on baby and you don't want to waste $ on bottles you won't even use. If you search the products community archive for bottles you'll see tons of advice & preferences.
Personally I liked the playtex drop in bottles. I used the air vent ( I found they leak) and glass bottles (heavy to lug around) and Dr Brown's are a pain in the rear to clean. It's trial and error for you. I breast fed and the drop in bottles worked best for my milk storage containers. You can always try 1 or 2 of each and see what you like best.
