is this normal in a 6 weeks 5 days ultrasound?

I had an ultrasound done at 5 weeks and 5 days and all they could see was the sac but no baby. Is this normal? the ultrasound technician said it was to early to realty see anything. But my doctor seemed concerned so she checked my hormone levels and said they were doubling just fine. And that it's probably that i'm too early and since i'm a big girl it won't be as easy to see. But i still can't help but to worry. But then i think i'm just over worrying and it's normal. Maybe it also had to do that is wasn't done vaginal. Any thoughts?

I had one done a week later and the sac had really grown so i guess that s s good thin
g too

I think I was about 8 weeks when we could finally see something in the sac, but even then it still looked like a little jelly bean wiggling around!

With my last pregnancy at 5 weeks they could only see the sac too. About a week and a half later the baby showed up. So yeah its normal.

Sounds to me like its just too early to tell. Every woman and every pregnancy is very different, so you should wait till the next one before you start worrying too much!

Yes I think it's too early!! Pretty rare when you can see a baby at this stage.

HCG levels are doubling fine = great!
