im 38 weeks and 1 day, due june 20th ...im 16 and im deliverying in georgia , at northside hospital, i had the worst case of nausia and i smoked some weed a couple times and im due in 13 days! are they going to take my baby when they find weed in her poop ?? no negatibe comments i jus need answers
I agree they took my friends baby and then two yrs later she had another baby and took that *** well every state is different. Best of luck to u. I'm also due June 20th.
People are telling you to drink lots of fluids basically and in sorry to tell you..that only works works with your own system you only pee out the toxins you put in..baby doesnt pee or poop out your toxins you fill it with..not be negitive..just saying pee all you want they may still find thc levels in your baby because it doesnt leave baby's system just cause you pee...I would google the laws in Georgia ..every state is a tad different. In Tennessee they just passed a new law that if your baby comes up with drugs in it's system your arrested and charged with child endangerment. A lot of places are changing laws but Google to check your state!
My cousin actually just went through this, & they got children protective services involved since they found marijuana in her daughters system. But this is in Ohio. She had to stay at the hospital a little longer to monitor the baby, but all they did after that was send someone to check on them at home every so often to make sure the baby was okay & that she was too. But best of luck to you! My parents are big weed smokers & they drink orange juice & cream of tartar to get it out of their systems? I don't know how well it works, but it might be worth a shot!
Not that I disagree that what this girl did wasn't the smartest decision, I've been there done that, but she SPECIFICALLY said NO NEGATIVE comments, which means (for those women who are ignorant enough not to know) if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. I remember being 16 and I knew right from wrong, which is why this girl said no negative comments cause she already KNOWS she didn't make the right choice! For Gods sake just answer the question and stop being so judgmental. Let's take the plank out of our own eyes before we pick at someone else's splinter.
To answer your question the first answer posted is accurate. But when this happened to me they tested the baby's blood and said ifthe blood ttest was positive then I wouldn't be leaving with baby. But it does indeed vary from state to state. I'd Google it if I were you.

I assume this is the same in most places but im from the UK so im not sure. But when you deliver the placenta and they check it for clots apparently they can also tell if you have smoked or drank to a degree during pregnancy. Im a ftm so im pretty clueless but thats what ive been told x
Its possible that cps will get involved and sorry u shouldve thought of it before u puffed LOTSSSS of women have neasua vomiting and dry heaving during pregnancy throughout the WHOLE pregnancy. U might just have to take random drug tests the first yr if ur lucky

who knows but if i.was you i would start drinking LOADS of water and **** out as much thc levels as you can.before your delivery. I recommend you.dont smoke nothing at all. You are young but dont be so.stupid this shouldve been the month where you.shouldnt have smoked anything at all. This is a very crucial time for your babys devolping lungs. I hope you know that. Thier lungs are one of the last things that mature in the last weeks of your pregnancy. Dont screw up ur angels lungs just because your nauseos. Find another remedy.You need to
