late pregnancy

I've just found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant at 46!!!.  I'm delighted and so is my husband but I'm absolutely shocked to be pregnant at all (thought it was menopause) and very worried about the miscarriage rates for this age group, which I've read is as high as 50%. I don't smoke or drink, I watch what I eat and am taking preg vitamins.  All of my blood tests were great and this is baby number 7.  Others are between 27 - 6 yrs.  What can I do to minimise the risk of miscarriage please.

Congratulations. My fiance and I are both 46 and have been together 3years and nothing yet! Wish it was me. I am sure it will all go smoothly.

Congrats! Just take care of yourself I think that's the best you can do. The rest is up to your Dr and baby.
