Amoxycilin is safe for pg.  I took it in my early pg for an UTI.  Also many people drink early in their pg before they know about it.  I wouldnt' worry about that either.

Get in to see you dr and Congrats!!

OMG OMG OMG, I knew with the whole yeast infection thing, I just freakin knew....I wanna reach in this computer and call you right now I'm soo excited. Okay, Don't panic!!
I know we all demand the progesterone but it is not PROVEN to sustain pregnancy. Don't think twice about the anitbiotics or the drinking AT ALL!! Call your OB anyways and ask for a beta and a progesterone reading. At least if they see it is low they will maybe re-think their decision. It's not gonna hurt you for crying out loud JUST GIVE IT!!!
I'm soo excited I can hardly stand it!!!!!

like everyone else said...dont worry about the antibiotic and drinking...
just try and hang in there and let us know whats happening...you are in my prayers tonight...but you dont need them ;) cause everything will work out! stay strong!!!!

i am even more scared now!!!  my hcg shows that I am at least 6 weeks!!!  I tested on the 12th through the 16th w/ all negatives!!!  They are sending me in for an ultrasound to rule out an ectopic .....this is too scary for new years eve.  i just feel like cryiing.  so the ultrasound is at 2:30 today.  guess i will find out then.  what are my chances of having an ectopic again???  also, i have been drinking since then...actually i went out w/ friends and drank 2 1/2 beers one night...and then i had wine for the holidays!~!!  omg!!  i am freaking out.  i don't know what to think.  i really dont have too many symptoms either.  is this normal.  omg. omg ....i hope that i can handle the news once they do the ultrasound.  :(

Where the heck have you been!?? Well, I hope they really freak you out and you see a heartbeat, ha ha ha... Listen the whole drinking thing....My dr. said I would miscarry (long story) and I got obliterated for several days in a row, they said NO CHANCE! I went in for a D&C hungover (after doing shots at superbowl Sunday) and they said, oops! Yes one baby was 7 1/2 weeks dead that they were going to remove but there was a new pregnancy in the uterus, HUH??? Yeah, well, she's a perfect 15mo old right now :0)  Soooo, needless to say, you're baby will be perfect with just a little wine and a few beers, ha ha ha. I cannot wait until your ultrasound. We'll all be checking so please update us ASAP!

Don't worry too much about drinking alcohol in moderation during those first early weeks. The baby is nourished by it's own yolk sak until the placenta forms and takes over. And, many women have very few symptoms in early pregnancy as well. Good luck today at your appointment!

well just got back from the us.  it is def not an ectopic.  there is a gestational sac but they believe it is too early to see anything yet.  she said it measures around 5 weeks.  shouldnt they see something???  now i will be freaking out until the next ultrasound.

I was 4 weeks 2 days and all when I got my first us and all they saw was a g.s also and he said probably wouldn't see anything really well til about 6 weeks so my next appt I'll be 7 weeks 3 days and should see the baby and a heartbeat.

i went at 6 weeks, they said i measured 5. saw nothing but a yolk sac. went back in another week and saw fetal pole with strong heartbeat. (at 7 weeks, measuring 6)

now i'm 19 weeks measuring 19 weeks.  i guess i caught up. (at my 12 week i measured 12 weeks)are they repeating ultrasound in a week?

Are you counting 5 weeks from your last period, or 5 weeks from ovulation? 5 weeks from your last period means that baby is probably only 3 weeks old and definitely too early to see clearly on an ultrasound. Baby will show up better around 6 weeks after ovulation. Try not to worry and good luck!
