Thank you for your support.  We spoke to my doctor today and yes he is talking about running blood, etc. testing.  We will actually start on Thursday.  Your right, jifnif, I do need time to from all this, but at this point I am so anxious to find out what is going on!!  And to be able to start trying again!! They did some testing before hand because I wasn't getting pregnant on my own, and they found some low hormone levels.  So, the IVF cycle would have gotten me through that.  But, now they need to do further testing to see what elsa is going on.  So, now I will take it a day at a time.  And Violetasmom, one day, I know it will happen for me...and you too.  I will email you as soon as I can.  You will be in my prayers for tomorrow....

I haven't been to a clinic but I was just about to when I found out I was pregnant.  We had suffered two miscarriages and 1 ectopic.  I was mad and frustrated with my dr.  In all actuality I wanted him to run tests.  I can not tell you what to do but if your dr is going to run tests that is a step in the right direction.  But honestly, didnt the run tests before you even started???  in my area RE's are hard to come by.  We have maybe (big maybe) 3 choices w/ in an hours drive.  Take some time to let your self heal.  I don't mean a long time..haha, I could never do that!!  But some time off from all the hurt and pressure of trying and now a loss.  :)  Have faith that it will work out.  :)

I am so sorry to hear this...I have not used a fertility clinic so I have no advice on that, Probably he is referring to a blood panel and chromosone testing for yo an dyour husband. THey did this after my second m/c just to see what the complications could be...I might have thet tests with this clinic and then possibly change clinics for fertility. I am so sorry I was so hoping everything would be okay...I focus on the joy of the days of dreaming that is how i get through it...I wish I had a baby to hold but I realyy believe that my two are lights in heaven and I think about the joythta they brought others even in teir short life...I don't know how to deal with the pain so I choose to thank God for the joy and focus on the days of Hope and keep praying that one day all will be well...this is our third try ...tomorrow I go for my fourth u/s and I pray we see something!!!! I am here if you need me....***@****  you will remain in my thoughts!

Hi...I got my results back today and my numbers have dropped by more than 50%..not good.  My Doctor says it is another miscarriage and I need to stop my shots now and let my body "clean" itself out.  I am very discouraged now...this is my second.  I'm sure many woman have gone through this and maybe more, but I don't know how they do it.  My husband and I are concerned that maybe we should go to a different Fertility  Doctor.  But, then I would have to start all over with someone new who doesn't know me.  I have read that if you have two or more miscarriages then you should change clinics.  Any advise?  My Doctor has said that once my levels are back to normal we will start running tests.  I haven't asked him yet what tests...he just called me this afternoon with the news and I wasn't quite in the mood for talking too much.  Has anyone experienced any further testing?  I'm not sure what to expect.

I am so glad to hear your numbers are going up! Remember in early pregnancy before 6000 numbers double only every 2-3 days!! 3 dyas being normal so 50% is not bad...just try and stay relaxed as long as your numbers rise..your baby is alive...and 15% of all normal pregnancies have slow rising and abnormal HCG levels...so kepp going ..yay! Glad to hear it ..keep us posted!!

Thanks for responding...I've never gone on any sites like this before, but it feels good to have others to discuss things with.  I had my blood test today and my number increased by 50%.  The Doctor says it is not the number they were looking for, but it was a significant increase. So I have to return in two days for another test.  This day by day is very stressful!  Thank you, Violetasmom for sharing your moms story...it makes me feel better.

My mother had her period every month with me and she bled so much one month that they scheduled her for a DNC and low and behold there I was...and that was 40 years ago. I have read countless reports of women passing huge clost and massive amounts of blood and all being well...I hope all goes well today...let us know!

I am very discouraged...I have completed now my second IVF cycle. My first resulted in a miscarriage.   I had my pregnancy test and was positive (yeah!).  I went for a second blood test and the number has more than tripled.  Now, today, I feel like I am having my period, and am bleeding.  I consulted my doctor and he told me not to worry (right), and come in in the morning for another blood test to check levels again.  He said many woman spot and are okay...but I am more than spotting and have bad cramps.  His nurse said that some women have a period and still remain pregnant.  Does this sound right to anyone?  I am very worried and scared.

That is a tough one, I would say to maybe get checked! I don't want to scare you but I think you should maybe get checked out as soon as possible if the pain is really severe! When I had my miscarriage I too had severe back and abdominal pain and it turned out I was bleeding internally. One good thing in your case is that your hcg levels are going up, although I might be a little concerned because of the rate they are going up, seems a little high for me. Maybe you are carrying twins and they are really making you stretch quickly!!! I would still be checked out ASAP though, just for the sake of making sure everything is okay!

Good Luck!!
