maternit21 plus

Has anyone ever heard of the Maternit21 plus and has taken it yet? My Sequential Screening came back positive last week. NT was 3.1 , hcg was on point gut the Pappa was a bit low. I opted out of the CVS and i don't want to go thru with the Amnio so i paid $475 for the Maternit21 plus. I am really curious if anyone on this site has taken it before? If so would you mind sharing your experience, thoughts or feedback. I took it Friday, so I have to wait 2 weeks for the results. I haven't slept in days...so worried.

Thanks! No results as of yet. Its a 12 business day wait. The accuracy for Maternit21 Plus is 99.3 vs an amneo which us 99.6 . I think that it is great that they are making it available but it is really just so upsetting that insurance is not covering it. I will let everyone know how it turns out..... patiently waiting....

It's a new test, so most people probably aren't even offered it yet and many probably decline it because of the cost since insurance won't cover it. (as it is so new)  From what I have read in the past though it has a pretty significant accuracy rate.  The only reason I had even read about it is because of the concern that it will lead to more women to abort since it can be done earlier on.  I hate that people want to limit access to a test that is pretty much non-invasive and risk free.  So many women just want to be prepared and have a plan in place for their and their child's future needs and if there is a less risky test than a cvs or amnio I am all for it.

Anyway, good luck, I hope everything works out for you.
