I just checked and saw that you also have alcohol issues. You need to get help for your problems,  am worried about your unborn child.

Are you taking  this pair of meds for bipolar disorder?  Depending on the dosage,  you are taking serious medication.  Depakote is known to cause birth defects.  Trazadone, ( which i recall correctly is for sleep) also the same.  Under no circumstances would i take these meds while pregnant.

Most doctors will  tell you to cease any medication until after the baby was born.  The very earliest most doctors would suggest continuing  the meds is the 3rd trimester.  If i chose to take the meds in the 3rd trimester,  the doctors will want you to sign all kinds of waivers of liability.

In the end, I guess it depends on how severe your condition is,  however nothing is more important to me than the health of the baby.

Well I looked it up thank you. Just from what I have read there is no way I'll be taking them. I absolutely will talk to my doctor about this. Just to let him know its not happening.

Depending on your reasons for being on Depakote and Trazadone, the benefits  may outweight the risks. You really should talk to your doctor more indepth about the risks if you start the medication again or if you choose not to take it. You and your doctor can make the best decision for you. You should also seek a second opinion before considering starting those medications because they do come with risks.
