Symphysis pubis dysfunction. It has to deal with your pelvis. It can cause some serious pain. To the point of where, for me,  my butt & thighs would THROB. you cant turn in bed comfortably, hurts to get in & out of vehicles, to walk, to step on stairs, or to even put on sweat pants. It hurts bad. & as the baby gets heavier, thats more pressure & more pain. I hate it. & tylenol doesnt help.

Ok. Being a mom of 8. I would have to say that its the baby dropping down and getting ready to come.

What is SPD?

Sounds like ur baby is engaging.... moving down into position. Its puts more pressure on ur back. If it gets unbearable id call ur midwife/dr as u could be close. Xxx

I think I have SPD. I have allll the symptoms but tomorrow is my due date & if I have to.be induced itll be next tue or Wed so its too late to do anything. Its just your baby dropping his head lower. Your hips get wider & will probably hurt. Just be glad its not SPD.

Your baby's head engaging causes stress on your pelvic bone and lower part of your spine.  Just be glad you didn't have SPD! Lol
