I feel the same way. They should know for sure that you are having a miscarriage before they tell you these things. Start speaking healing over your womb, and every other area in your life. God still has the last say. No matter what man say; God will allow no one to take his glory. Our babies our in the hand of God. I am praying for you as well.
did you tell your doctor the day of conception. cuz they are counting off your last period not on tha day of conception so you could be not as far along as he thought and somtimes wen your 6 weeks they cant even see tha baby and if your 5 weeks he wont be able to see it for sure. well my doctor can only see a yolk sac but he insist its either a miscarriage or a tubal pregnacy but he still wants to do blood work. and i also would tell you to get a second opinion. i dont understand how doctors take these things so lightly. they should chek any possibilty possible before considering anything. your in my prayers.
I believe I maybe 6 to 7wks pregn. My first day of my last cycle was Dec 17, but it wasn't until about three wks after that before my husband, and I had intercourse. Not sure how it really works though. My doctor want even do any blood work because he is so sure that this pregn will end in a miscarriage. He said that by now we should be seeing more than a gestational sack, and he can tell more by the TransVag U/S then any blood work. I tried to go to another doctor today, but wasn't able to get an appt until next thurs. I may try to go out to the Women Hospital tonight just to see if they see the same thing. This nonstop brown discharge is what I am worried about. I am praying for us, God has the last say. His will; will be done in both of our lives. Stay prayerful and hopeful.
you shuld tell your doctor to chek your hcg levels before your do anything like a d&c becuz those are more accurate. itll tell you if your pregnacy is normal or not. i go bak today to take more blood and then i go bak on wensday to find out my results and to see if my levels doubled...im prayin to God that my doctor is wroung. how far along are you? did the hospital try to chek for a heart beat? iv also am still spotting but i think this is from the pelvic exam cuz my doctor sed its normal to spot after that. becuz wen i was spotting before and i went to the hospital the bleeding was alredy stoppin cuz at first it was red then brown and the doctor sed thats a good sign plus my cerviz was closed and after the pelvic exam i was spotting a redish brown color. but i guesz i jus have to wait for my hcg levels and that will tell me wat is going on...i will keep you in my prayers/.
Hi April,
I am going through something similar. I did have a tubal pregn in Feb of 2005, and it was bad. I didn't even know I was pregn. I actionly went to the doctor on Feb 03, to get a check up, and founded out I was pregn. The next day I begin to hurt. I then went to the ER, and that's when they saw the baby in my tube and said that I was internal bleeding. They did emerg surgery; I lost one of my tubes. I just founded out again in Jan that I was pregn. Ocourse nervous becau of what I previously went through. My doctor begin to do an early u/s. I have had three TranVag/u/s by my doc and two at the ER. The ER did see the yolk sack, but no heartbeat. However, my doctor is only seeing a gestational sack, and he cont to tell me that this pregn will not last much longer. Saying that by now he should be seeing more. He haven't done any blood work. He stated that he can tell more by the u/s then the bloodwork. He also found a Cyst on my right side and a Fibroid Tumor on the left. I have had a brown discharge for the last 2wks non stop. I am even having bad dreams at night that I have m/c.
I am so sorry to hear that you are going through the some of the same things that I am exper. I thought I was going through this alone. However, we will both just keep our faith in God, and hope for the best. I am praying for you that everything will be alright
thank you so much for your reply and i kno tubal pregnacy is so serious and he seems to take it so lightly and tell me like if it is nothing. but i am 11 weeks and i kno if my baby was in my tubes i wuld be havin major cramping by now. i have a friend who had a tubal pregnacy and i have read up on it so i know a little about it. and i really do plan on letting nature take its course because if ive come this far in my pregnacy and my doctor has still not been able to give me a straight answer i wouldnt wana risk anything. but thanks for your help its very much appreciated
My experience is not like yours, except I also did the rollercoaster thing, and I know how frustrating and upsetting it can be when you can't seem to get a straight answer. but I do want to tell you what my Dr. told me. "Pregnancy is normal, but its not perfect". I know how scared you must be right now, but the best thing you can do is try to relax, stay calm, and wait and see. Personally, I would not opt for a D&C right now, as all kinds of mistakes can be made with "modern day technology", and if you have or are miscarrying, nature will take its course. As long as you are not bleeding heavily, there shouldn't be any danger to you in waiting. they were able to tell me it I know that alot can depend on how good the ultrasound equipment is, how good the tech is, etc. Your HCG's will also tell you alot. The fact that your cervix isn't dialated is a good sign. I am so sorry you are going through this, and I wish you all the best, and am sending positive thoughts your way.
Oh, and I don't know a thing about tubal pregnancy, so I would definatly be on top of that with your dr. if it was me. I know that is nothing to mess around with. Get another opinion if necessary. But don't wait on that part. It seems to me that at 9 weeks, if he thought that was a real possiblity, he wouldn't have you wait another week to find out.
Good luck to you!
