When I couldn't sleep (while pregnant), I took melatonin. I had the worst nightmares ever. Come to find out "vivid dreams" are a side effect of melatonin. So if you are taking any meds you might check to see if you are experiencing new side effects due to the hormones of pregnancy. Good luck.
